Appearing in THE DARTMOOR COWBOY

I’m very excited to share that I’ll be appearing in a new short film called The Dartmoor Cowboy. The film is directed by Wij Travers, written by Travers and Alex Mills, and produced by Rob Jelley. It’s a collaboration between Act 6 and Slick Films, whose work I’ve admired for some time.

The story is set in 1950s rural England and follows Ross Salmon, a local cowpuncher trying to make a life for himself on the moor and gain acceptance from the surrounding community.

I play Canadian John, a trusted friend to Ross. The character is based on the real-life Ross Salmon, whose story you can read about here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/devon/news_features/2004/ross_salmon.shtml

The cast also includes Henry Garrett, Lily Travers, Levi Mattey, Dean Christie, and Roderick O’Grady.
