TFTINMY Begins Its Festival Journey: Bordeaux, Paris, and Sunderland
The festival journey for The First Time I Never Met You is officially underway, and it’s been a whirlwind few months.
In March, the film travelled to Bordeaux, France, for its World Premiere at the 27th Festival Européen du Court Métrage de Bordeaux. Being part of the Official Selection was a huge honour and an incredible way to introduce the film to audiences for the very first time.
April brought another French screening, this time in Paris, where the film was officially selected for Paris in the Dark, a brilliant genre festival that champions imaginative storytelling.
In May, the film had its UK Premiere at the Sunderland Shorts Film Festival, where it also received an Honourable Mention. Sunderland is a BIFA-qualifying festival, which made the recognition even more meaningful.
It’s been an exciting start to TFTINMY’s life on the festival circuit, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported the film so far.
More updates soon… there’s plenty more to come.
